Korean Welfare Management Association Spring Conference in 2022

The Korean Society for Welfare Management (Chairman: Chung Yong-chung, professor of Open Cyber University Korea) held a spring academic conference and workshop in Sono Felice, Hongcheon, for a two-day visit from June 24 (Fri) to 25 (Sat). This spring conference became a place to discuss the concerns of the field of study and practice to cope with the rapidly changing social welfare environment under the theme of "welfare management, present and future."

Professor Shin Young-il (Korea Institute of Health and Welfare) gave a lecture on the Philosophical Review of Humanism to look back on the rapidly changing welfare management environment from the perspective of humanism. The theme presentation was "AI and Blockchain-based Medical Welfare Service Case Study", "Artificial Intelligence Convergence Department of Korea Open Cyber University", "Social Economic Cooperation" was "Better Economic and Social Cooperation", "How to Improve the Job Environment" was "Professor Lee In-jun (Seoul Senior Welfare Association) and "San-Gyungwon".

In the next day's academic presentation, Professor Hao Long Xu (Ph.D. in Golf Convergence Science at Kookmin University), Xiao Sun (Master's Course in Marketing Environment and STP Strategy at Shinhan University), and Professor Li Wang (Jiang University of Technology and Social Responsibility on Corporate Performance).

On this day, Professor Kang Kyung-sook of Wonkwang University attended the conference, and Seong Dae Geun, CEO Of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, attended the conference online.

Chung Yong-chung, chairman of the academic conference, said, "We will make efforts to discover excellent management models of welfare management and produce practical research results to promote their achievements."

Professor Kang Kyung-sook of Wonkwang University said, "We need to improve the welfare level for the underprivileged, blind spot students, and students with special educational needs. Everyone needs to think about and work hard on what welfare improvements are really needed for the underprivileged," he said.

Seong Dae Geun, CEO Of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, said, "We were able to grasp various views on the factors that have recently become a hot topic through discussions and management lectures such as the fourth convergence of industry and welfare, and improving the treatment of various welfare workers. We need to improve the welfare of the underprivileged, who are increasingly marginalized in a rapidly changing society, and I think we need to discuss it," he said.
