[Laon Shinmun Reporter Kim Dong-young] Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement, said he attended the first Korea-U.S. Next Generation Political Conference Build Up Korea 2023 held at COEX on the 11th.
Build Up Korea 2023 is the first Korea-U.S. next-generation political conference held in Korea, hosted and organized by Build Up Korea and 34 percent, and held at the COEX Auditorium on the 11th.
CEO Seong Dae Geun said, "In a modern society confused by various issues, we will work with the right politics so that young people and teenagers who will lead the next generation through the right politics and education can grow with a view and identity that can see the world from the right perspective with dreams and hopes for the future."
Under the theme of "Restoring the Founding Spirit and Identity of the Republic of Korea," the first Build-up Korea was attended by more than 1,000 young people and teenagers, and former and current political and business figures, including former U.S. Congressman Ted Yoho and former U.S. State Department Vice Minister Chadwick Gore, visited Korea for the conference, and the first Korean Congressman Kim Chang Joon also attended.
The morning session will include Pastor Rab McCoy's 'How will Christianity in America affect politics?Speeches such as "Why U.S. Freedom Is Important to South Korea and the World" by former lawmaker Ted Yoho and "The Impact of U.S. Foreign Policy on the World" by Alex Burscherwitz, CEO of X Street Consulting, were held at the afternoon session, followed by speeches such as "Why we need to know the U.S. right away to see the world's flow," "The Reality of North Korea and the Mission of Koreans from the perspective of the U.S.," and "Why should South Korea and the U.S. stay close?" by former Vice Minister Chadwick Gore.
