Forum to Create 1 Million Full-time Youth Jobs

On February 8, Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement

attended a forum event to create 1 million full-time youth jobs held on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Center!

The forum was co-hosted

by Kyungpook National University Regional Development Institute

and the March 1 Mental Health Movement Association Youth Jobs Special Committee

to discuss the solution to creating 1 million full-time jobs over 5 years!


The forum for creating 1 million full-time youth jobs consisted of two topic presentations and discussions.


Professor Kim Hyung-ki, honorary professor of economics and trade at Kyungpook National University, gave the presentation on the strategy of creating 1 million full-time youth jobs,

and Professor Jeong Seung-guk, a visiting professor at Korea University's Graduate School of Labor,

gave the presentation on the topic of labor market reform to create jobs for young people!


Through the presentation, various alternatives such as policy convergence approach, deregulation, support for innovator activities in all fields,

and elimination of labor market dual structure, and the need for various efforts such as flexibility of working hours,
reform of senior wage system, education and training system.


We, Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement,
