Galhyeon Youth Center Rest has been entrusted by Eunpyeong-gu since 2019

and has been operated by the social welfare corporation Angel's Haven,

and it is a youth complex where youth culture houses and youth shelters coexist,

providing Galhyeon Youth Culture House and Women's Youth Rest Area.

I was surprised that Galhyeon Youth Culture House has so many diverse activities such as youth cultural space operation,

youth management committee, youth club plaza Y.C.S., youth human rights and labor rights activities,

youth harmful environment monitoring, running away from home, and promotions and campaigns!

And "Eunpyeong Women's Temporary Youth Shelter" provides life support,

medical support, hygiene management, follow-up guidance and emergency communication support for 9-24-year-old female teenagers,

and provides career education and experience activities and social adaptation education programs through youth group counseling and psychological tests!

After listening to the explanation of the major projects of the youth center rest,

we had a round-trip time to look around the facilities of the youth center~

On the first basement floor,
there were a club room, a media room, an auditorium, a youth activity room, a singing practice room, a dance practice room, a creative experience room, a band practice room, and a cultural cafe~!

And this is Eunpyeong Women's Temporary Youth Shelter on the 2nd floor. The facilities are very clean and nice!

I felt relieved and happy to see that teenagers are protected in such a safe and cozy space~

At the end, I had a photo session with the heads of the Youth Crisis Care Committee.

It was a very meaningful

time to visit Galhyeon Youth Center in person,

look around the facilities and listen to projects for teenagers!

As problems with out-of-home youth are becoming more serious,

local communities and adults are increasingly interested in these issues,

and the Korea Educational Assessment Service will also work hard to find active ways to solve them and develop reasonable

and systematic educational programs to help them!

Then, the Korea Educational Evaluation Agency will come back with good news next time.

Be careful of the hot weather and have a happy day~!!
