The Korea Educational Evaluation Agency held at the Ulaanbaatar Playground event hall and Zoom Webinar in Mongolia on the 5th

I attended the International Conference and Exchange Meeting to promote the human rights of the mentally disabled

in Northeast Asia and spread the movement of the parties.

This exchange event will be held on Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5 at the Ulaanbaatar Playground in Mongolia

It was sent to three countries through Zoom Webinar and simultaneously translated.

The event was organized as a venue to share the current status of human rights and movements of mentally disabled people

and discuss cooperation between the three countries, along with mental disabled people, advocates, and friendly experts in Northeast Asia!

Sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Institute for the Development of Persons with Disabilities,

this exchange was co-hosted by the Institute for Disabilities, Hokkaido Medical University, Advanced Medical Research Center, Ulaanbaatar University, and Universal Progress.

Songpa Mental Disability Fellow Support Center, Korea Center for Independence for the Mentally Disabled, Mapo Mental Disability Center, Cheongju Mental Health Center, Seoul Social Welfare Public Law Center, D-Light, and Bethel's house participated as partners.

On the 1st day, Kim Sung-jae, chairman of the Institute for Human Rights

and Human Rights for Persons with Mental Disabilities,

presented the current state of mental policies and legislation in Korea, Japan and Mongolia, respectively.

Through Zoom Webinar, the people who came here showed a lot of interest~

In the second part, Kim Kang-won, head of the Center for Mental Health Rights Advocacy at the Institute for Human Rights

and Issues of Korea, Mongolia's Ministry of Health expert B.Tsetsenbileg, and Sakura University's Sonomi Sato discussed the issue.

In the second session, there was a briefing session on the spread and cooperation of alternative mental health movements in Korea, Mongolia, and Japan on the status of alternative movements and welfare services for mentally disabled people in each country.

On the second day of the conference, Shin Seok-cheol, head of the Songpa Mental Disability Support Center, N.Tamirkhvvv manager, and Noriyuki Ito, a Bethel home activist, presented the trends

and directions of mental disability movements in Korea, Mongolia, and Japan

After a free discussion and Q&A session on the spread of the party movement and the promotion of network cooperation in the future, we had an exchange meeting.

As discussions on awareness and practical support for the mentally disabled are always active,

it was very meaningful to have time to attend an international conference to hear about the current status of human rights issues for the mentally disabled and to discuss

and devise ways to support them.

We will become the Korea Educational Evaluation Agency that strives more for educational activities to improve the concept

and social awareness of the mentally disabled so that the personal rights of the disabled can be improved and their human lives can be improved!
