This education training was hosted by Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement and organized by Chan Chan School, and it was conducted in the form of Myanmar nationality and students working or studying in Korea who applied and participated.
In the case of this first educational training, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, one of Korea's major cities, was designated and visited, and it was planned in the form of a cultural experience of wearing hanbok, a traditional Korean costume, a visit to historical sites where you can learn about the history of Korea, and various communication and education based on the Korean language.
On the first day, participants visited Kyochon Village, Woljeongjeong, Donggung Palace, and Wolji to try on hanbok, toured each place, and learned about the history of each place, and the training center gave presentations and communication based on the themes of 'I', 'Korea', and 'Dream'.
On the second day, they visited Seokguram, Bulguksa Temple, Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon and Cheonma-chong to learn about the history of each place, and continued group activities by holding various quizzes and games based on the themes of 'language', 'culture', and 'life' at the training center.
For the last schedule, after the completion ceremony of the education and training, they toured Poseokjeong and Hwangnidan-gil to conclude the training schedule for 3 days and 2 nights.
This educational training was an event that was planned to provide an opportunity for many Myanmar friends to socialize, communicate, and engage in activities in their busy lives, and it was held with a meaningful meaning based on various topics related to the Korean language and Korea, and a total of 25 Myanmar workers and international students successfully completed the completion ceremony of the first semester, and all the participating students ended the event by promising to participate in the 2nd Korean language education training to be held in the next year.
In addition, as Korea has been designated as a multiracial and multicultural country from this year and more foreign workers and international students are expected to come in the future, the Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement has planned a program to provide an opportunity to experience and understand the history, culture, and life of Korea firsthand, and to help support the stable settlement of Korea.
