Seong Dae geun, CEO of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, said on the 26th that Baekseok University signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement for the development of local communities by training professionals tailored to NCS-based 4th industrial technology field and forming an infrastructure network.
The signing ceremony was hosted by Professor Lee Kun-soo of the Department of Police at Baekseok University, and before the signing ceremony, they introduced prayers and attendees, and exchanged greetings from Seong Dae geun, CEO of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, and Han Jung-soo, head of Baekseok University's industry-academic cooperation.
The agreement signed each other's contracts and agreements. Through the agreement, NCS-based on-site customized curriculum development and system, 4th industrial technology project, cooperation, and various education will be provided by Baekseok University's police department.
After the closing of the agreement ceremony, the two organizations had a commemorative photo session.
Han Jung-soo, head of Baekseok University, said, "Today's agreement will open a venue for mutual development and cooperation, and it will be a good opportunity to cultivate field-oriented talents by utilizing the skills necessary to perform their duties in the industrial field." The industry-academic cooperation group and the police department are also providing support, and we will work with The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement to further step up the training of human resources."
Seong Dae geun, CEO of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, said, "I believe that Baekseok University's excellent infrastructure and curriculum will be able to create a greater synergy effect by meeting the know-how of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement and various ideas. Through smooth cooperation and communication with Jeong Han-soo, head of Baekseok University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Group, Lee Kun-soo, and professors of the police department, we will try to develop 4th industrial technology, especially 4th industrial technology education related to security, to create a safer and more developed Korea. We will try to make it a place for education to train field-oriented human resources that will lead the era of the fourth industrial revolution," he said.
Lee Kun-soo, a professor of police at Baekseok University, said, "Through an agreement with The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, we will strive to nurture talented people who can utilize technologies that combine national security and various crime prevention and the fourth industry. Baekseok University's police department will generously share the skills, infrastructure, knowledge and information necessary for crime prevention and investigation, and will strive to train field-based professionals in NCS-based fourth industrial technology," he said.
Baeksuk University has been making various efforts in connection with the fourth industrial technology, said Wang Yi-sup, a professor at the Department of Police at Baekseok University. Together with The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement, we believe that we will be able to provide better education to students and residents of the community by utilizing each other's resources.
