Korea Institute for education & evaluation advancement (CEO Seong Dae geun) announced on the 3rd that it held a business agreement with Korea Open Cyber University (President Jang Il-hong) to establish a 4th industrial technology education and customized education system for the disabled and promote online and offline education

Korea Open Cyber University is the first cyber university in Korea to lead differentiated educational content based on years of experience, and in 2021, it was selected as the best university in the education welfare support assessment for disabled students every three years. Korea Open Cyber University received perfect scores in information provision, evaluation support, and scholarship support by providing customized support for each type of disability, producing subtitles, offline special lectures, and sign language interpreters for students with disabilities.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to cooperate to integrate social welfare education and 4th industrial technology in line with the 4th Industrial Revolution era, provide equal educational opportunities for students with disabilities, and establish them as leading universities
Kim Eun-joo, vice president of Korea Open Cyber University, said, "Korea Open Cyber University is striving to discover, develop and operate a differentiated online curriculum aimed at fostering new talent in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through an agreement with the Korea Educational Evaluation Promotion Agency, we intend to provide classes that not only education of the 4th industrial technology but also students with disabilities can easily and conveniently receive IT education. We will provide high-quality education not only to students of Korea Open Cyber University but also to local residents of Korea Open Cyber University to contribute to the development of local communities and further spread online education."
Soon Deok-ki, head of the department of social welfare, said, "The era of the fourth industrial revolution requires creative education, not existing education. In line with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, we will seek ways to create synergy between social welfare and fourth industries, train talented people as future talents, and work with the Korea Educational Evaluation Agency to improve their vocational skills and quality of education."
