Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement announced that CEO Seong Dae Geun attended a forum event to create 1 million regular youth jobs held at the International Conference Room on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Center on the 8th.
The forum was co-hosted by Kyungpook National University's Regional Development Institute and the March 1 Independent Movement Association Youth Jobs Special Committee to discuss solutions to creating 1 million full-time jobs over five years.
The first part of the 1 million full-time youth job creation forum consisted of Professor Kim Hyung-ki (Honorary Professor of Economics and Trade at Kyungpook National University)'s "Strategy to create 1 million full-time youth jobs" and Professor Chung Seung-guk (Guest Professor at Korea University Labor School).
Professor Kim Hyung-ki suggested a policy convergence approach, deregulation, support for innovators in all fields, and resolving the dual structure of the labor market. Professor Jung Seung-guk argued that flexibility of working hours, reform of the senior wage system, efforts to expand the labor market by occupation, and ALMP (active labor market policy) expansion.
The discussion, which followed in the second part of the forum, was chaired by the former head of the Korea Labor Institute, and the policy planning team of the Youth Foundation, the Korea Institute of Land, and Hanyang University economics professor attended to discuss youth job creation.
Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement said "It was a meaningful event to provide vocational training for the Korean labor market to Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancemen, which is working on job creation, job creation for unemployed and career-interrupted women, and to create better jobs.
