Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement, said on Nov. 29 that he participated in the drug prevention relay "NO EXIT Challenge" to raise awareness of the dangers of drug addiction.
The "NO EXIT Challenge" is a nationwide relay campaign organized by the National Police Agency and the anti-drug campaign headquarters to inform and raise awareness of the risk of drug addiction as drug crimes against adolescents as well as adults have recently emerged as a social problem at home and abroad. It has been drawing attention and participation from many people since April with a slogan comparing the risk of drugs to a maze without an exit.
The "NO EXIT Challenge" is a form of participating in the challenge by taking a proof photo with a picket printed with the key phrase of the challenge, "No exit-free maze, NO EXIT, never start drugs." CEO Seong Dae Geun is a leading education company that provides education for youth, young people, and the underprivileged, and participated in the challenge to promote the seriousness of drugs as drug crimes against youth increase and to practice the most important prevention before spreading.
Lawyer Do Tae Woo, who participated in the drug challenge, published a mystery novel that tells the story of the conspiracy surrounding the drug-addicted rocker Kwon in "Dionysus' Death," a tabulation of the novel, and argued that in-depth drug prevention education in humanities needs to be activated from the Nam-gu area of Jung-gu, Daegu to protect young people and teenagers exposed to drug risks. Lawyer Do Tae Woo is scheduled to run for Jung-gu, Daegu, in the 2024 general election.
Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement, said, "Time has passed since drug crimes in Korea emerged as a social problem, but the risk of drugs has not disappeared. Prevention is the most important thing in order to eradicate drug crimes that are highly addictive and cannot easily escape. Systematic and reliable prevention education is needed to prevent the onset of drugs due to lack of information and curiosity about drugs. We hope that the public will pay a lot of attention and participate in protecting the people from drug crimes and eradicating drugs."
Lawyer Do Tae Woo said, "Thank you for your valuable actions, such as drug prevention campaigns such as the NO EXIT Challenge. Korea's social environment has also changed rapidly as it was rapidly industrialized due to rapid development, but I think it is the way to become a truly advanced country to remain a drug-free country without losing its rightness in a rapidly changing society," and expressed his wish, "I sincerely hope that the Republic of Korea will be able to walk the path of a truly developed country."
