Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement, joined the campaign with Ryu Kyu Ha, the head of Jung-gu District Office, on the 21st with a picket containing his determination to practice plastic in the 'Bye Bye Plastic Challenge', a challenge organized by the Ministry of Environment.

The "Bye Bye Plastic Challenge" campaign, joined by Daegu Mayor Ryu Kyu Ha and CEO Seong Dae Geun, is a participatory relay campaign launched in August by the Ministry of Environment, which spreads environmental protection awareness and encourages environmental protection activities such as reducing the use of plastic products and encouraging the use of multi-use products to reduce wasted resources and protect the environment.

The Bye Bye Plastic Challenge can participate by taking a photo or video of shaking both hands, or posting a picture of holding a picket with a determination to practice on SNS.

Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Kyu Ha has been making a lot of efforts for the environment, participating in various environmental protection challenges such as the "One-time Product Zero Challenge" and the "Overpacked No Challenge" and promoting environmental protection activities that combine plogging and cultural heritage exploration such as "Patdam Tour."

CEO Seong Dae Geun is also making efforts to spread ESG in various ways, such as participating in campaigns such as the "GoGo Challenge" and the "One-time Product Zero Challenge" for environmental protection, holding ESG management seminars, and conducting consulting for SMEs.

Ryu Kyu Ha, head of the Daegu Jung-gu District Office, said, "I think environmental protection can only be achieved when individuals' small habits of daily life come together and join together. We hope that the residents will participate together not only to create a clean urban environment, but also to create a clean Korea and a healthy district through voluntary and daily participation. Jung-gu District will also make efforts to create a clean Jung-gu District by making the practice of reducing the use of disposable products a daily basis."

Seong Dae Geun, CEO of Korea Institute for Education & Evaluation Advancement, said, "The more we continue to manage ESG and learn more about the environment, the more we realize that the climate crisis is no longer a story of the distant future. However, the climate crisis is a huge crisis ahead of us, but it can be overcome if everyone participates and gradually continues their environmental protection activities in their daily lives. We will continue to strive to spread our good influence so that small individual efforts can bring about huge effects."
