Seong dae geun, CEO of The Korea Institute For Educational & Evaluation Advancement, said on the 10th that he participated in the "12th Secure Korea 2021 Conference" in collaboration with the National Assembly's 4th Industrial Revolution Forum.

CEO Seong dae geun, who participated in the conference, explained the basic security and encryption technologies of the blockchain in the auditorium of the National Assembly Library and emphasized the importance of a security-based metaverse.

CEO Seong dae geun said, "Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook recently announced that it would become a metaverse company by changing it to Meta," adding, "The metaverse epidemic is not expected to end in a single-shot manner, and we should pay attention to invisible security rather than the environment seen in front."

He said, "We need to pay attention to security using blockchain technology. With the spread of smart factories and industrial computers, more and more computer environments and maintenance technologies are being connected, and cybercrime targeting industrial control systems and smart factories with weak security is increasing, he said.

Finally, as Metaverse and IT development are developed based on blockchain, interest in security is also growing, he said. "We will also make efforts to research the latest security technology in blockchain."
