The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement announced on the 5th that it held a business agreement ceremony with Dongguk University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Group for the development of local communities through training NCS-based and field-specific professionals.
Under the slogan "NCS-based New Deal Leading and Future Industry Convergence," the MOU for fostering key SW and ICT professionals of The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancementand Dongguk University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation was held at Lotus Hall on the 4th floor of Dongguk University's main building in Seoul.
In line with the era of the 4th industrial revolution, Dongguk University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Group established an education system related to 4th industrial technology and signed an agreement to develop creative and practical talents through NCS-based and field-specific vocational skills.
Jung Young-sik, head of Dongguk University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "Through this business agreement, Dongguk University's excellent professionals and infrastructure are not limited to education, but will improve the quality of education and provide high-quality education."
The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement CEO seong dae geun said "We will combine Dongguk University's excellent faculty and educational environment with various fourth industry-related technologies, information, and manpower pools, including IoT, big data and artificial intelligence, to provide high-quality educational opportunities for Dongguk University students and to develop various industry-academic joint research projects.".
Professor Park Jin-ho, head of Dongguk University's Future IT Convergence Education Center, said, "If Dongguk University, a 116-year-old prestigious educational private school, and The Korea Institute For Education & Evaluation Advancement , a specialized institution that conducts education and training based on NCS, a national job competency standard, work together, we can expect good results."
